Based in Old Newton Village hall, we have been providing a pack-away, fun and enjoyable preschool for children aged 2 to 5 since 1987. Our strong connections within the village and facilities allows us to provide the children with a warm, safe place to play, learn and grow. We have close links with our local village school, Old Newton Primary School, supporting those moving to school with their transition.
We pride ourselves on our fully qualified, enthusiastic and imaginative play leaders who provide a child-focused, interest led and interactive learning environment, to give your child the best possible start to their school journey.
Operating during term times only, we have indoor and secure outdoor play areas, and access to supervised play on outdoor equipment. We regularly arrange for walks around the adjoining playing field, woodland and nature areas.

Old Newton Under Fives is running a summer holiday club this year for 3 to 11 year olds.
It is running for 4 weeks, Tuesday to Thursday each week 9am to 3pm.
Dates and themes are July 29th – 31st Messy, Make and Create;
August 5th – 7th Science and Discovery – Unleash Your Inner Scientist;
August 12th – 13th Nature Explorers Gone Wild;
August 19th – 21st Music, Dance and Mayhem.
Sessions are morning (9-12), afternoon (12-3), full day (9-3), lunch club can be added on to morning sessions extending them to 12.30. Prices are:
- 3-5 year olds – £17.50 per session (£35 full day)
- 6-11 year olds – £15 per session (£30 full day)
- Lunch club (included in afternoon and full day sessions) – £3
